CCC 2024 Undocumented Student Action Week

The 8th Annual California Community Colleges’ Undocumented Student Action Week (USAW) on October 14–18, 2024. We encourage administrators, faculty, staff and students to attend the virtual webinars. CCC's system serving undocumented students in the nation, our role in supporting their educational dreams is crucial. USAW provides a platform to:

  • Raise awareness about challenges faced by undocumented students
  • Discuss local, statewide and federal solutions
  • Build a strong, collaborative ecosystem for student success
  • Break down silos and promote a unified campus approach

The Culture and Community Circle sessions celebrate the experiences  and contributions of various communities including people who are differently abled (Disabilities Awareness month); the Filipino/a/x community, (Filipinx Heritage month); the Latino/a/x community (Latinx Heritage month); Undocumented/Status/DACAmented /Dreamer students, (Undocumented Student Action Week), the Middle Eastern community,  and the contributions of women (Women's History Month).

Equity-Minded Teaching and Learning Institute (EMTLI)

The Equity-Minded Teaching and Learning Institute (EMTLI) is a yearly cohort-based professional development activity in which participating faculty analyze their classroom data, disaggregate by race/ethnicity, and then make changes to their curriculum and teaching practices using an equity-minded teaching framework.
